Alarl

Alarl is one of the smaller isles of the eight isles located in the Dragon Isles. It is located south of Mind, and south and east of Misty Isle. This island is a dumping point for ships coming to the Dragon Isles. If they have any Kender on their ships, they stop here and drop them off first at the town of Perch.

The isle is covered with gentle hills, and the entire island is cover in woodlands that aren't dense. The lowlands that are on the island tend to be marshlands with all the rivers and lakes that cover the island. The only places that do not have trees on them are almost all the hilltops, where Metallic Dragons can find easy places to land.

No clan of dragons claims this island, but treat it as more of a park. Here dragons will come and spend years at a time to see the wildlife here and the inhabitants of the island making a living for themselves. Many different types of creatures inhabit the island such as antelope, deer, goats, bears, wolves, all types of birds, many types of feline predators, and elephants. Also there are small tribes of Kagonesti, Humans, and Kyrie (Krynn's word for Aarakocra) that are rarely seen in the forests.

Ararl is an isle of ruins. Nothing tragic happened, it just lies uninhabited with no wildlife nor any other life forms. Nature has reclaimed almost all the land with small remnants of old homes, shops, and other buildings remaining.
