Dragonheights
Along the eastern ridges of the Garnet Mountains are the Dragonheights, which are a series of jagged peaks that comprise the tallest part of the entire Garnet mountain range. Notably steep cliffs fall over 1000 feet to both the east and west, and impassable precipices rise 100 feet into the air on the north and south to the crest of the Dragonheights.
The five mile long crest is comprised of broken fingers of rock shooting upwards that have deep gaping chasms between each "finger". The crest of the Dragonheights is only accessible to creatures of the air. Dragons have been known to inhabit the dizzying peaks of the Dragonheights in the past, particularly blue dragons in the period after the War of the Lance.
