Lookit

Hylo’s second oldest settlement stands at a branch in the Lookit River, and is built on the plateaus of a three-tiered waterfall that sends up a constant spray that covers the town in rainbows during the day.

Local lore tells that by staring into the ever shifting rainbows, a person can see visions of the past, present and future and gain great insight from them. Mystics and scholars who have investigated these stories have found no validity to them though, suggesting instead that those Kender who have seen visions likely ate a local mushroom, or were so mesmerized they just forgot to breathe. Nearly six hundred Kender live in Lookit.
