The Tower

This tall obsidian structure stands across the bay from the city of Hylo, ad is the subject of much speculation amongst the Kender – most of which agree that it is the home of a powerful sorcerer, and the greatest friend the Kender of Hylo have ever known. Some of these stories even claim that the sorcerer is none other than Magius – the former companion of Huma Dragonbane – who is trapped within until someone can return his staff to him.

Supposedly, the spirit of the tower acts as an oracle and will speak to Kender who sit at it’s base, warning them of approaching danger.

Nearly three hundred Kender live in huts spread around the base of the Tower, protecting it from looters whilst exploring it themselves, but never ever taking anything from within.
