The Pattern

At the centre of the Plains of Dust, between the Twendle River and River Shin is an area none of the plains tribes travel to, believing the area to possess some mystical property that makes it uncomfortable for them to live there. It is said by the few who have travelled through the area that there is coloured sand there, spread out in bizarre designs and patterns, but the cause and what they mean are entirely unknown.
