Shalost

A two-hundred foot tall tower stands in a clearing, one hundred foot wide at it’s base, thinning as it rises and unadorned apart from a battlement at it’s top and a crystal cone at it’s peak. The tower itself radiates a feeling of peace and calm, even amidst the nightmare, though dark creatures seem able to walk here without harm It is said by some who know elven legend that the tower of Shalost is the resting place of a great hero, though very few know that it is the human druid Waylorn Wyvernsbane who lies within, and that he is not dead, but merely resting.

Tower of Shalost

The grand, enigmatic tower of Shalost stands in a clearing to the west of Silvanesti, close to a small, unassuming village of the same name. The tower is 100ft wide tower and 200ft tall, made of smooth, magically shaped stone with a smaller 30ft tower on top of that capped with a cone of flawless crystal. It has no windows, and seems permanently clean. Although the sides of the tower are completely smooth, the one exception is a ladder carved into the northern face that rises all the way up to the top landing. The walls of the tower are immune to all types of damage, and resistant to magic so no spells will work when in direct physical contact with it. Simply standing in the presence of the tower, a creature feels a wash of peace come over them. For up to 100ft around the edge of the tower even Lorac’s Nightmare seems to have no power, though the creatures of the dream do still walk through this area and leave tracks
