Silvanost
Also known as the City of a thousand White Towers, an also as the Place of Spires, this is the capital of the elven nation of Silvanesti - a place sculpted in every way. Every building, tree, rock and flower has been carefully curated so that it grows and stands in a very particular way. Buildings rise from single-storey at the city’s outer edge to as high as twelve-storeys towards the centre, the might Tower of the Stars resting at the city’s very heart, surrounded by Silvanesti’s major towers and temples.
Grown before the fall of Istar, a mighty hedge was raised as a defensive wall around the entire border of the forest, and would be routinely patrolled by wildrunners to keep all outsiders out of the more and more isolationist Silvanesti. During the first Dragonarmy attack, most of the hedge was destroyed, but some remnants remain around the southern and south-western border forming an impenetrable threefoot high and wide wall of living vines that will reach out to entangle and constrict trespassers
