Citadel of Karoc-Tor

The Citadel of Karoc-Tor sits upon a one thousand foot high spire of black rock on the northwestern coastline of Solamnia's Coastlund region. It is an ancient citadel thought to be a neigh-impenetrable stronghold. This ws proven wrong when most of it fell after The Cataclysm.

Following The Cataclysm, the citadel was claimed by a bandit named Gadion, who took residence along with his followers in the last surviving tower, which along with the barracks and keep were the only parts still standing.

The keep is constructed of the same black rock as the spire and it stands on and is perpetually dark and gloomy having been constructed without windows. It's largest hall - an audience chamber at the heart of the keep - is often used by Gadion to entertain guests, both willing and otherwise. A large prison complex also extends into the rock beneath the keep that Gadion still makes use of, however, he is unaware of the secret doors hidden in every cell that could be knocked away, all joining in the same passages and leading to a spiral stair that descends deeper into the rock to an artifact known as the Dragon Well - something Gadion is completely unaware of.

Dragon's Well

The Dragon's Well was an ancient experiment conducted by the Brotherhood of the Dragon- a stone well over which a captive dragon would be bled and used to create a magical mixture that supposedly allows the drinker to twist and warp the natural world.

Hidden in a round chamber bathed in an eerie blue light with no visible source, the well is a massive stone basin supported bu six white marble dragon statues, and a rotten wood ramp circling it to allow its users to reach the top. Inside, a milky white liquid gives off a faint silvery mist.

The milky white liquid is a poisonous-like substance in its rawest and highly potent form beyond all resistance and immunity. Any creature that even comes into skin contact with it will be blinded for an extended period of time while also acquiring physical damage from the liquid. If ingested, the drinker experiences immense physical pain for an extended period of time, longer than the blinding lasts. If the drinker does not succeed, they transform into a monstrosity known as a Gigant.

Found in a notebook of what can only be assumed to be a deceased member of the Brotherhood of Dragons, the theory of how to harness the power of the liquid is explained. It is believed that to make the fluid empowering, it must be mixed with equal parts dragon blood. Doing so, according to legend, greatly empowers the drinker that they could even reshape reality.

Bob, Orion, Orla, and Tehv'in have drank the liquid and acquired such powers.
