Palanthas
Palanthas, the capital of Solamnia, serves as a crucial maritime hub due to its location at the mouth of the Vingaard River, facilitating trade routes between the inland and other parts of the continent. The protective natural geography, including the Vingaard Mountains and the New Sea, fortifies the city against invasions and sea storms.
The city's history is marked by periods of great prosperity and dire conflict. Despite its esteemed position, Rhea's leadership and the close ties between the university and the Church of Seiros are not without their critics.
