Backstory: Hubert is the eldest son of Marquis Vestra, a family with a long history of serving the imperial family. From a young age, he was trained to protect and support Edelgard, developing a fierce loyalty to her. Hubert shares Edelgard's vision for a reformed Ansalon and acts as her shadow, dealing with the more covert and ruthless aspects of their plans. He enrolled at Garreg Mach Monastery to continue supporting Edelgard as a member of the Black Eagles.
