Bookgreen 18-21, 361 A.C.

Krynn's Vanguard made their way down to Qualinost with the help of Armantaro's Teleport. Luckily, since he's familiar with the palace, there was no chance of him accidentally teleporting them to an unknown area, even if it did help them out last time.

Once in Qualinost, they met with the imperial General Count Leopold Von Bergliez. He gave them a brief welcoming and pretty much told them to 'stay out of the way'. Honestly, he was probably pretty bugged that they were there but being some of the Empress's trusted friends, he at least had to be civil.

After some reconnaissance and planning, Krynn's Vanguard got word about an attack on Porliost that the Green Dragon Army had performed. Taking their Wind Walk form, Krynn's Vanguard investigated but couldn't tell what exactly happened. They did see a large contingent of creatures headed in all directions, but it was unclear whether this was refugees from Porliost or Green Dragonarmy troops.

Over the Straights of Algoni, Krynn's Vanguard spotted four figures in the water that looked to be about dragon sized coming from the Bay of Darkness. They were lead by one figure, the largest of the bunch. While they were dragon-sized, it was unclear if they were dragons as their silhouettes were visible, but shaky on the actual shape to make a definitive decision on what they were. Following the figures, Krynn's Vanguard saw two figures break off as the group reached the fork where the Straights of Algoni connect with the Straights of Schallsea. One figure continued North towards the Solamnia coasts, while another broke south towards Goodbay. The other two continued towards the maritime intersection of Port O'Call and Crossing. A major trading hub and strategic position with a bridge rising 600 feet above the surface, as the two cities it connected sat on cliffs about 500-550 feet.

The party lost sight of the figures as they reached the bridge, assuming they'd dived deep enough they couldn't be seen. Reverting out of their wind walk forms, Krynn's Vanguard met with their allies and informed them of what they saw. The Imperial Army was fairly aware as they had scouts and reporting routes all along the land. Krynn's Vanguard got Leopold and Edelgard Von Hresvelg to send additional troops as a way to have extra support as they suspected that the main attack force was headed to the bridge. Although...there were no ships carrying troops or any land forces making their way. Green Dragons are amphibious but creatures such as draconians and especially humanoid soldiers are not capable of staying underwater for extended periods of time. What was their true mission? Had they followed another red herring?
